“ Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop – Ansel Adams
This one wasn’t easy for me. I spent most of the week trying to come up with an idea, but with no success. I was about to give up when one morning I spotted a plane soaring through the clouds outside my bathroom window. Oh, well, I thought, this is my last chance. So I grabbed my camera and took a few shots. Quite blurred and drab shots. There was something about those clouds, though, that kept me shooting away until the plane disappeared inside a huge cloud formation.
All in all, I had been lucky. No plain blue sky with a lonely plane. A nice fluffy cloud instead. I edited the drab original in PS, pumped up the clarity, boosted saturation and then cropped and polished my tiff version in Camerabag2. The original was a bit noisy, due to the high ISO, so I added even more via software. You can see the uncropped original below with just a few adjustments applied. Never throw away your so-so shots!
